On October 23, Leeds United received a fine of £40,000 ($48,924) from the Football Association (FA) due to an incident in May during a Premier League match at Elland Road, where a supporter ran into the technical area and pushed Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe.
The fan responsible for this action was subsequently sentenced to 12 weeks in prison and banned for life by Leeds.
The FA stated that Leeds United acknowledged their failure to ensure that their spectators behave in an orderly manner and refrain from using inappropriate, offensive, violent, threatening, abusive, insulting, or provocative words or actions.
Furthermore, the FA issued a warning to Leeds regarding their future conduct. A portion of the £40,000 fine, specifically £20,000, will be suspended until the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
