Running back, center and guard are back at practice

The Lions are in good health following their bye week. Running back David Montgomery, center Frank Ragnow, and guard Jonah Jackson all participated in practice on Tuesday, and they also had a light practice on Monday. Notably, all 53 players on the active roster joined in the extra practice session.

According to Lions coach Dan Campbell, he is optimistic about the trio’s return for the upcoming Sunday game. Campbell mentioned that they have been making positive progress for a while now.

David Montgomery had been sidelined for the past two games due to a rib injury. Before his injury, he had delivered two consecutive impressive performances with 100 yards and a touchdown in each of those games. Throughout the season, he has maintained an average of 4.1 yards per carry and scored six touchdowns.

During Montgomery’s absence, rookie Jahmyr Gibbs had a standout performance, rushing for 152 yards and scoring a touchdown in their victory over the Raiders.

Jonah Jackson had missed the previous three games due to a high ankle sprain, and Frank Ragnow was absent in Week 8 due to a calf injury. With Jackson and Ragnow returning to the lineup, veteran Graham Glasgow will transition back to right guard.

In summary, the Lions are looking forward to having their key players back in action, which bodes well for their upcoming games.
