Kieran Trippier has issued an apology to Newcastle United fans following their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth. The traveling supporters, who covered a 700-mile round trip to the Vitality Stadium, experienced disappointment as Dominic Solanke’s two second-half goals handed Newcastle their first Premier League loss since September.
