Three Miami Dolphins players expressed admiration for Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams ahead of their Week 11 matchup at Hard Rock Stadium. Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins’ wide receiver, highlighted the upcoming game as his first face-off against the Raiders since joining Miami. Hill has faced the Silver and Black 11 times in his career, amassing 54 catches for 794 yards and scoring 9 touchdowns. Praising Adams, Hill described him as one of the league’s premier receivers, emphasizing his ability to gain leverage on opponents.
Dolphins Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio, in his second season with the team, commended Adams as a great player. Fangio had previously faced Adams during his tenure with the Chicago Bears when Adams played for the Green Bay Packers. Fangio praised Adams for his size, ball skills, catch radius, and route-running, placing him among the top receivers in the league.
Renaldo Hill, the Dolphins’ passing game coordinator and secondary coach, also spoke highly of Adams, acknowledging the difficulty of stopping him. Hill emphasized the importance of attention to detail and solid technique when defending against Adams, noting the receiver’s ability to navigate double teams and two-man coverage.
Adams is set to play his third game against the Dolphins, aiming to contribute to the Raiders’ offense as they seek a 6-5 season record with a win in South Beach on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
