Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane has been cleared to play in this Sunday’s match against the Las Vegas Raiders after a four-game absence due to a knee injury. The fourth-round pick in the 2023 draft demonstrated an impressive performance in Weeks 3 through 5, amassing 460 rushing yards and scoring seven touchdowns. His standout Week 3 display, with 233 total yards and four touchdowns, earned him the AFC Offensive Player of the Week title.

Following a notable Week 5 performance of 151 rushing yards and a touchdown against the New York Giants, Achane was placed on injured reserve. Coach McDaniel described the injury as more of a sprain than a tear, emphasizing the team’s cautious approach despite the potential for playing through the injury with a knee brace.

Coach McDaniel praised Achane’s exceptional work ethic and commitment to the team, anticipating his contribution to bolster the AFC East-leading Dolphins in the latter half of the season. Despite being a rookie, Achane has seamlessly integrated into the team’s dynamics, earning respect in the locker room.

In addition to Achane’s return, the Dolphins strengthened their roster by signing wide receiver Robbie Chosen to the practice squad. Chosen was promptly elevated to the active roster for the upcoming Sunday game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
