According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Thiaw faces a prolonged absence due to a severe muscle issue, escalating the defensive crisis for AC Milan with Pellegrino and Kalulu also sidelined until the new year.
The report asserts that Milan won’t delve into the free agent market for a quick fix before January. Instead, Jan-Carlo Simic will be elevated from the Primavera, and internal options will be explored on a game-by-game basis.
The Rossoneri management is actively considering potential signings for the January transfer window. One strategy involves pursuing a loan deal for Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal, which is challenging but currently not ruled out. Other names in contention include Badiashile (Chelsea), Kourielakis (PAOK), and Estevè (Montpellier). However, Lloyd Kelly is confirmed to stay at Bournemouth in January.
Milan scouts will be in France next weekend to identify new prospects to add to their shortlist.
