Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill gets MVP endorsements from Richard Sherman, LeSean McCoy
A discussion is circulating online regarding the NFL MVP race, and the current frontrunners are Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott. Notable football analysts LeSean McCoy and Richard Sherman have shared their perspectives on the MVP debate, both concurring that the most impactful player for an NFL team this season is Tyreek Hill, the wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins.
McCoy expressed his view on FS1, asserting, “It’s truly Tyreek Hill. The MVP should be Tyreek Hill. He should be our favorite. He’s on track to achieve something unprecedented… While Tua [Tagovailoa] deserves credit, without Tyreek Hill, his true impact becomes apparent… When evaluating the numbers and your value to the team and the league, it’s not a quarterback right now; it’s really Tyreek Hill.”
Hill, with five games remaining, is poised to make NFL history by potentially surpassing 2,000 receiving yards in a single season. Currently, he has amassed 1,481 yards and 12 touchdowns on 98 receptions. Hill has consistently exceeded 100 receiving yards in eight of the Dolphins’ 12 games and has only been held without a score on two occasions.
Sherman also weighed in, highlighting Hill’s unprecedented achievements, saying, “Tyreek Hill is accomplishing something unprecedented. Unlike towering figures like Megatron or Randy Moss, he’s under six feet, exceptionally fast, and explosively dynamic. He consistently performs at an elite level as the primary player… No one can contain him; he’s the standout player on his team. If they secure the top seed in the AFC, he deserves to win.”
As of now, the Dolphins lead the AFC with a 9-3 record and are on a three-game winning streak. With four of their last five games scheduled in Miami, Hill and the Dolphins have a strong opportunity to solidify their position at the forefront of the conference.
