Auburn football’s defensive tackle, Justin Rogers, is set to compete in another bowl game. Rogers has confirmed his participation in the East-West Shrine Bowl, an event that brings together senior players from both the eastern and western regions of the United States. Historically held in California, the game will relocate to the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, starting from the 2024 edition.
Having played in all 12 games for the Tigers this season, Rogers accumulated notable statistics, including 16 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. His collegiate journey includes three seasons at Kentucky before transferring to Auburn, where he tallied 61 tackles, five tackles for loss, and three sacks.
Before taking the field for the East-West Shrine Bowl on February 1st, 2024, Rogers will first participate in the Music City Bowl with the Tigers. The upcoming matchup, scheduled for this Saturday, December 30th, in Nashville, Tennessee, will see Auburn (6-6, 3-5 SEC) facing off against Maryland (7-5, 4-5 Big Ten) at 1:00 p.m. CT, with the game broadcast on ABC/ESPN+.
