Breaking news: Miami key star breaks down his decison to flip from Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Adarius Hayes, a highly-ranked linebacker from Largo, Florida, made a significant change in his college commitment on the opening day of the Early Signing Period, opting to switch from his long-standing commitment to Florida to now pledging to Miami.

During the check-in process on Friday before the Under Armour All-American Game week, the 6-foot-4, 225-pound player, known by the nickname “Hitman” bestowed upon him by a youth coach, provided detailed insights into the reasons behind his decision to make this switch at the eleventh hour.

Carrying the moniker “Hitman,” a title given to him during his youth coaching days, Hayes aspires to emulate the success of legends such as Ray Lewis in Coral Gables. This new chapter in his journey is set to commence in January when he enrolls early.
