Following a defensive setback in the Orange Bowl against the Georgia Bulldogs, the Florida State Seminoles football staff promptly took to the recruiting trail to bolster their defensive line.
They extended an offer to Grady Kelly, a redshirt sophomore defensive lineman from the Colorado State Rams, hailing originally from Navarre, Florida. Kelly, standing at 6’2″ and weighing 285 pounds, showcased his skills during the season with 35 tackles (25 solo), including 6.5 tackles for loss (1.5 sacks).
Since entering the transfer portal, Kelly has garnered interest from several programs, including the Arizona State Sun Devils, Boston College Eagles, Indiana Hoosiers, Kansas Jayhawks, Maryland Terrapins, Michigan State Spartans, Minnesota Golden Gophers, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Texas A&M Aggies, among others.
