Lakers Injury Report: Four more elite players on Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a disappointing start to their six-game Grammy road trip, losing the first two games in a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday. The situation might worsen as they face the Boston Celtics tonight at TD Garden in a TNT broadcast at 4:30 p.m. PT. The Lakers, currently in the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 24-25 record, could be without their top two players. According to the latest NBA injury report, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both questionable.

Anthony Davis missed the previous game against the Atlanta Hawks due to bilateral Achilles tendinopathy and a left hip spasm, and his status remains uncertain. LeBron James, despite playing well recently, is dealing with a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy. The absence of either of these All-Stars would significantly impact the Lakers’ chances against the formidable Boston Celtics, who currently hold the top seed in the Eastern Conference. If both players are sidelined, it could make the nationally broadcasted game quite unappealing. In addition to James and Davis, point guard Gabe Vincent (left knee effusion surgery) and small forward Cam Reddish (right ankle sprain) are also out of action.
