Breaking news: Georgia Releases Statement Following fresh departure of two key Staff Members

This week, the Georgia Bulldogs experienced the departure of two coaching members, with special teams coordinator Scott Cochran and offensive analyst Darrell Dickey resigning from their positions. The University of Georgia announced that Kirk Benedict, previously a special teams analyst, would step up as the special teams coordinator for the upcoming 2024 season, but no replacement for Dickey has been named yet.

Dickey had recently joined the Bulldogs’ staff for the 2023 season, while Cochran had been with the Bulldogs since 2020, having previously worked with head coach Kirby Smart during their time at Alabama. Smart expressed gratitude to both Cochran and Dickey for their contributions and wished them well in their future endeavors.
