Dotson’s Break-Out Season in 2023
Dotson, who honed his skills at the University of Louisiana for the Ragin’ Cajuns, showcased his talent by starting in 14 games for the Rams during the 2023 season. With the second-highest PFF rating among 79 eligible guards in the NFL, Dotson emerged as a standout player, according to NBC Los Angeles.
Acquired from Pittsburgh during training camp, he swiftly became a cornerstone of the Rams’ offense. Throughout the season, Dotson particularly shone in run-blocking, while maintaining discipline with only two penalties and conceding merely four sacks. As a result, Dotson’s stature in the league is burgeoning, garnering attention beyond his recent contract extension with the Rams. Furthermore, Dotson’s upward trajectory is mirrored by the commendable performances of his fellow offensive linemen on the Rams’ roster.
