The Las Vegas Raiders are poised to include a Pro Bowl quarterback in their lineup following numerous reports from The Athletic indicating that the team is reigniting trade discussions with the Chicago Bears for Justin Fields. Earlier in the offseason, the Raiders were mentioned as a potential landing spot for Fields.

Minshew had a great season with the Indianapolis Colts
Minshew showcased a Pro Bowl-worthy performance for the Indianapolis Colts after rookie Anthony Richardson sustained an early injury. He is now set to vie for the starting quarterback position with Aidan O’Connell. Additionally, there’s a possibility of a rookie from the upcoming draft joining the competition for the Raiders’ QB1 spot this fall.
Throughout his five-year NFL career, Minshew has accumulated 9,937 passing yards, 59 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions. The advantageous aspect of adding Minshew to the Raiders’ roster is that they won’t need to part with a draft pick, as they would have had to do in a potential trade with Chicago for Fields.
