Reports indicate that Dallas Keuchel, a seasoned Major League Baseball pitcher, has inked a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners. Keuchel, who clinched the American League Cy Young Award in 2015, is slated to join the Mariners’ Triple-A affiliate, the Tacoma Rainiers, this upcoming weekend.

The 36-year-old left-handed pitcher recently concluded a stint with the Minnesota Twins in the previous season, having joined them in June 2023. Across 10 games, including six starts, Keuchel recorded a 2-1 record, a 5.97 ERA, and 25 strikeouts in 37.2 innings pitched.

Before his tenure with the Twins, Keuchel navigated through multiple teams during the 2022 MLB season—namely, the Chicago White Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Texas Rangers.

The pinnacle of his career came during his time with the Houston Astros from 2012 to 2018, where he clinched the AL Cy Young Award in 2015, secured a World Series victory in 2017, and earned All-Star recognition each season.
