JUST IN: Another former Rams o-lineman key man as a running back retires

With the 2024 NFL Draft drawing near, teams throughout the league are refining their draft selections and scouring the available free agents for potential additions who could make an impact. The Seattle Seahawks are no exception to this as they kicked off Phase I of their offseason training program on Monday and revealed two roster changes on Tuesday.

One of the recent moves involved placing running back Bryant Koback on the reserve/retired list. Koback had a stint with the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad in 2023, following previous practice squad engagements with the Philadelphia Eagles in the same year and the Minnesota Vikings in 2022. With Koback’s retirement, the Seahawks now have only three running backs on their 90-man roster: Ken Walker, Zach Charbonnet, and Kenny McIntosh.

Furthermore, Seattle bolstered its offensive line by acquiring Max Pircher, who previously had ties with the Los Angeles Rams. Pircher, originally from Italy, played college football in Germany before joining the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He spent two seasons on the Rams’ practice squad before moving to the Detroit Lions’ practice squad for the 2023 season. This addition follows the earlier signing of free agent Tremayne Anchrum.
