Isaiah Todd last appeared in the NBA during the 2022-23 season with the Washington Wizards. After being traded twice over the summer, he landed with the Memphis Grizzlies. However, before the season started, the Grizzlies released Todd. Despite this, they paid him nearly $2 million for the 2023-24 season as he still had money remaining on his contract, as reported by Sam Yip of HoopsHype and Spotrac.

Isaiah Todd, originally the 31st pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, has played for the Washington Wizards in parts of two seasons. In his career, he’s averaged 1.6 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, with shooting percentages of 22.2% from the field and 19.2% from three-point range across 18 regular-season games.
At just 22 years old, Todd could be an interesting free agent option for NBA teams this summer.
As for the Memphis Grizzlies, they had made the NBA playoffs for three consecutive seasons but missed out in 2024. The team faced numerous injuries and ended up as the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 27-55 record. They struggled down the stretch, going 3-7 in their last ten games and enduring a five-game losing streak.
Looking ahead to the 2024-25 season, if the Grizzlies regain their health, they could be contenders in the Western Conference playoffs. Their talented roster includes Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Marcus Smart.
