During his time at Washington, Meah played for two seasons, averaging 5.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in his most recent season. In his junior season at Washington, Meah started all 31 games, averaging 8.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and more than one block per game. His defensive prowess earned him a spot on the Pac-12’s All-Defense team, tallying a total of 77 blocks over his two seasons at Washington.

Before his time at Washington, Meah played two seasons at Fresno State, where he averaged 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in his sophomore season. He was regarded as a three-star prospect coming out of high school, holding an overall rating of 89 by 247Sports.

Meah’s addition addresses a critical need for Nebraska, as they lost Josiah Allick to eligibility expiration and saw backup posts Matar Diop and Blaise Keita enter the transfer portal in March. The status of Rienk Mast for the upcoming season remains uncertain as he has not disclosed his plans publicly, including how his knees will be managed during the offseason.

With Meah joining 6-foot-10 forward Andrew Morgan from North Dakota State, Nebraska aims to bolster its lineup with increased size and depth in the frontcourt.

Meah marks the fifth addition to Nebraska’s roster from the transfer portal since the conclusion of the previous season, signaling the team’s proactive approach to strengthen its squad.
