The Los Angeles Rams have traded wide receiver Ben Skowronek to the Houston Texans, exchanging late-round draft picks. Houston received Skowronek and a seventh-round pick in 2026, while the Rams got a sixth-round pick in 2026, according to Thursday’s announcement.
Skowronek, a seventh-round draft pick from Notre Dame, earned a significant role on offense and special teams during his three seasons with the Rams. Notably, he made two catches for 12 yards in the Rams’ Super Bowl win as a rookie, playing 46 offensive snaps after Odell Beckham Jr.’s injury. During the Rams’ tough 2022 season, he became a regular in coach Sean McVay’s offense, catching 39 passes for 376 yards and often lining up as a fullback in 11 games.
Last season, Skowronek mainly contributed on special teams and served as a team captain for the Rams. In his three-year career, he has accumulated 58 receptions for 575 yards and one touchdown.
