Lancaster High School alum Joe Andreessen has signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills

Joe Andreessen, a hometown hero from Depew and a Lancaster High School graduate, as well as a former University at Buffalo football player, has inked a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills officially confirmed this signing on Saturday evening. Initially invited to the Buffalo Bills Rookie Minicamp on a trial basis, Andreessen impressed and secured a spot as an undrafted free agent.

During his recent stint at the University at Buffalo, Andreessen showcased his skills with an impressive tally of 90 total tackles, including 12 tackles for a loss, and notching one sack.

His journey to this point is marked by standout performances. At Lancaster High School, Andreessen made a name for himself on the football field, earning two all-state linebacker honors for the Legends, before committing to Bryant University for college football.

His time at Bryant University was equally illustrious, highlighted by setting a school record in 2022 with 116 total tackles and earning FCS All-American honors that season.
