In another development for the 2025 recruiting class of the Wisconsin Badgers, running back prospect Jace Clarizio has opted to join Michigan State, as he revealed on Tuesday.
Hailing from East Lansing, Michigan, Clarizio, rated as a three-star recruit, had been a significant target for the Badgers in their search for running back talent in the upcoming class. Despite an impending official visit to Madison, the 5’11, 185-pound athlete has decided to remain close to home and play for the Spartans.
Although Wisconsin had high hopes for Clarizio, they still have three official visits lined up: Javin Gordon from Georgia (scheduled for the weekend of June 7th), Cale Breslin from Nevada (weekend of June 14th), and John Forster from New Jersey (also the weekend of June 14th).

With the commitment of Clarizio to Michigan State, the Badgers might need to adjust their plans. Nonetheless, given their recent successful recruiting in the 2024 class, securing talents like Dilin Jones, Darrion Dupree, and Gideon Ituka, Wisconsin remains hopeful about filling their running back slot for 2025.
