Max Verstappen’s victory at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix has propelled him past Lewis Hamilton in terms of career win percentage. With his 59th win out of 192 grand prix races, Verstappen now boasts a Formula 1 career win percentage of 30.73%, surpassing Hamilton’s 30.38%. This achievement elevates Verstappen to fourth place in the all-time rankings, trailing only Juan Manuel Fangio, Alberto Ascari, and Jim Clark.
Had it not been for his unsuccessful comeback with Mercedes, Michael Schumacher would have held an even more remarkable win percentage of 36.55%.
Given the strong performance of Red Bull Racing and the unlikely prospect of Mercedes winning a race in 2024, the gap between Verstappen and Hamilton is expected to widen further this year.
