The Polynesian Bowl received a boost with the commitment of Chuck McDonald, a standout defensive back from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. McDonald, recently elevated in the 247Sports Rankings, now stands as one of the top corner prospects nationally, moving up to No. 115 from No. 151.

Possessing a blend of size, athleticism, and instinct, McDonald has demonstrated his versatility both on the field and in track, where he posted an impressive 10.84-second time in the 100m dash. At nearly 6-1 and 195 pounds, McDonald showcases the ability to excel in various defensive positions, whether lining up wide or in the slot, complemented by his adept ball skills and coverage awareness.
