The Seattle Mariners acquired right-hander Mike Baumann and minor league catcher Michael Perez from the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night in exchange for minor league catcher Blake Hunt.
Baumann, designated for assignment by Baltimore on Saturday, was 1-0 with a 3.44 ERA in 17 relief appearances this season and had a 10-1 record out of the bullpen last season.
