This visit holds significant importance for the Spartans, as Jayden stands out as one of the top remaining tight ends on their recruitment radar. With the aim of securing two tight ends in the 2025 class, Michigan State already boasts a commitment from three-star tight end Emmett Bork, hailing from Wisconsin. The potential pairing of Jayden and Emmett could greatly bolster the team’s roster for 2025.
The allure of playing under Wozniak’s tutelage is undeniable, given his impressive track record, exemplified by his role in developing Luke Musgrave into a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft with the Packers. Additionally, Wozniak currently mentors Jack Velling, a standout tight end who is poised for potential early-round draft consideration in either 2025 or 2026. Velling’s success is likely to attract further interest from top tight end prospects to Michigan State, especially if he continues to excel in the upcoming season.
Standing at 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 220 pounds, Jayden Savoury, hailing from Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary’s, is also evaluating offers from BYU, Duke, Kansas, and Wisconsin. He holds the rank of the 40th-best tight end in the 2025 class and is regarded as Michigan’s 16th top prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
