In his junior season, he recorded 54 tackles, 1.5 sacks, seven pass break-ups, and three interceptions. Currently, Rice is considering three final schools: Minnesota, Louisville, and Arizona. His commitment date is scheduled for June 11th or 12th, with only an official visit to Minnesota remaining.
Rice spoke with 247Sports, elaborating on his plans. “I’ve had extensive discussions with Minnesota safeties coach Danny Collins,” Rice shared. “He’s emphasized the significance of the ‘Power Two’ concept, highlighting that Minnesota is the sole representative of my top three schools within either the Big Ten or the SEC.
