BREAKING: Brentford Gm to sign £40m brilliant star

Former Birmingham City midfielder Jobe Bellingham might provide his former club with an unexpected financial boost this summer.

The ex-Blues academy player attended Wembley Stadium on Saturday night to watch his older brother Jude win the Champions League with Real Madrid. Jude, an England international, played 85 minutes in the match where goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior secured a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund for the La Liga giants.

Currently, Jobe Bellingham is set to return to pre-season training with Sunderland next month and is considered a key part of the team’s plans at the Stadium of Light, regardless of who succeeds former Aston Villa assistant manager Michael Beale. However, reports have emerged suggesting that both Bellingham and his Sunderland teammate Jack Clarke have attracted interest from Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Brentford and newly-promoted Southampton are interested in Clarke, the former Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United winger. Meanwhile, Brentford and Crystal Palace are reportedly pursuing Bellingham. This news is particularly significant for Birmingham City and their supporters, as the Blues secured a 15 percent sell-on clause when Bellingham transferred to Sunderland last summer. If either Premier League club pays the suggested fee of over £15 million for Bellingham, Birmingham City could receive an unexpected financial windfall.
