JUST IN: Louisiana quarterback, a rising underclassman, is being offered by the state

On Saturday at the Mississippi State campus, amidst a group of talented college football hopefuls, the standout performers were undoubtedly the young quarterbacks. Coach Jeff Lebby and quarterback coach Matt Holecek were deeply engaged, observing and guiding these signal callers as they honed their skills during practice.

Among these promising quarterbacks, Malachi Zeigler, hailing from Benton, Louisiana, stood out as one of the most impressive prospects. Despite being two years away from the signing day, Zeigler exhibited the qualities of a top-tier recruit both in his demeanor and on-field performance.

Reflecting on his progress, Zeigler shared, “I’ve dedicated a lot of effort leading up to this summer, and I believe it’s paying off. The confidence I feel in my throws is a testament to the hard work I’ve put in.”
