Noah Sanders, son of Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders, has received a gray-shirt offer from Michigan State football, as announced on his social media. This offer would delay his enrollment until the winter semester, allowing him four years of eligibility over five. Sanders, a standout running back from Wylie E. Groves High School in Birmingham, Mich., is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports and is also considering offers from other Mid-American Conference teams like Bowling Green and Toledo.
Sanders has strong ties to Michigan State; his older brother Nick plays basketball there, and his father Barry has been involved with the program recently.
Running backs coach Keith Bhonapha has been instrumental in recruiting Sanders, having observed his development closely through track and other activities. Sanders has visited Michigan State several times, alternating between football and basketball visits, and sees the program as a legitimate option for his future.

As Sanders navigates his senior year, the possibility of wearing the Spartan jersey, perhaps even donning his father’s iconic No. 20, remains an exciting prospect.
