BREAKING: EPL superstar to sign a £30 multi-million deal with Newcastle this summer

While I would love to sign him, other clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich can offer higher wages, the opportunity to stay in London, or Champions League football. If Olise doesn’t join us, Newcastle might consider turning their attention to Noni Madueke, who is already at Chelsea.

Madueke is a player who divides opinions, and I understand why. In this article, I will address the criticism surrounding his “attitude,” often centered around incidents like his argument with Cole Palmer over a penalty. While I don’t excuse his behavior, which was immature, such moments are not uncommon and do not define his character. His eagerness to take the penalty stemmed from a strong desire to impress and succeed. Last season at Chelsea, despite limited playing time initially, Madueke eventually secured the starting right-wing position through perseverance.

At just 16, Madueke left Tottenham to join PSV, rejecting Manchester United for a better career path. Coaches have praised his strong mentality, describing him as determined to excel. In my view, Madueke has the potential to become one of the Premier League’s top wingers. If he came to Newcastle, received consistent playing time, and felt supported in his development, many of the perceived “attitude problems” might not manifest.

If Olise moves to Chelsea, Madueke’s playing time could decrease further, despite his solid performance in his first season at Chelsea, where he scored eight goals and provided three assists in limited minutes. Before Chelsea, he maintained an impressive goal contribution rate at PSV.

Madueke’s attacking prowess, particularly with his lethal left foot, makes him a formidable threat on goal. He is adept at receiving the ball between the lines and is direct in his approach. His physical attributes—strength and speed—make him difficult to defend against, allowing him to create scoring opportunities.

While Madueke could improve creatively, particularly in decision-making under pressure, his recent injury record has improved significantly. Although I would prefer Mbeumo over Madueke for Newcastle, Madueke could be a viable option if Olise moves to Chelsea and funds become available.

In summary, Madueke presents a strong option for Newcastle at right wing, though there may be superior choices available. His potential and skillset suggest he could excel with the right guidance and opportunity, offering Newcastle a dynamic and effective winger in Noni Madueke.
