Arizona State football secured a commitment on Wednesday from Demarius Robinson, a three-star running back from Oklahoma, for the 2025 season.

He attended Arizona State’s spring game in April and opted to commit to the Sun Devils over other finalists such as Kansas State and Houston.

Rated as a top-10 prospect in Oklahoma and a top-45 running back nationally in the 2025 recruiting class by 247 Sports composite, Robinson played a significant role in Edmond Santa Fe’s run-heavy offense. He amassed 2,139 rushing yards on 213 carries, averaging 10 yards per carry and nearly 200 yards per game, scoring 28 touchdowns, according to MaxPreps. Robinson also participates in track, achieving a 100-meter time of 11.33 seconds.

Robinson marks the first running back in ASU’s 2025 recruiting class, which currently ranks 14th nationally with his commitment being the 19th addition.

Speaking to SunDevilSource.com’s Chris Karpman, Robinson cited the appealing weather in the Valley as part of his decision-making process: “It’s good weather out there, it’s not cold. It’s beautiful, a nice campus for sure. It feels something like home. I’m looking forward to being in the Big 12, just competing with those guys. I liked everything about it out there, that’s why I committed.”

Moreover, Robinson intends to enroll at ASU in January, joining the Sun Devils for spring practice in preparation for the 2025 fall season.
