There is still work to be done in terms of player departures this month as Forest aim to achieve financial balance before the month’s end. Nevertheless, Forest are actively participating in the transfer market, and it appears that more new arrivals could be on the horizon in the weeks ahead.

Forest pushed to exciting youngster by his agent

Forest are gearing up for an intriguing summer, holding valuable assets like Murillo and Morgan Gibbs-White, who could command substantial fees if they were sold. Among them, Murillo is reportedly valued as high as £70m, reflecting his standing at the City Ground.

However, Nottingham Forest also have their sights set on promising young talent, with reports suggesting they’ve been presented with an opportunity to sign Eric da Silva Moreira from St. Pauli. The 18-year-old versatile player has garnered attention for his performances, especially after St. Pauli’s promotion to the Bundesliga.

According to German outlet Mopo, Forest have expressed interest in acquiring Moreira for a fee as modest as €1.5m (£1.2m) this summer. The deal appears to be progressing positively, indicating Forest’s intent to secure the talented youngster’s services.

Forest eyeing big talent in Eric da Silva Moreira

St. Pauli has suffered a significant loss with their manager Fabian Hurzeler moving to Brighton & Hove Albion. Now, they face the prospect of losing Eric da Silva Moreira, a promising young talent who represents a part of their future.

It’s worth noting that Silva Moreira has limited experience in senior men’s football at the moment. At just 18 years old, he joined St. Pauli’s first team for training in the latter half of the 2023/24 season. Although he made his debut in the 2. Bundesliga, his appearance was brief, coming off the bench for a cameo role.
