Nebraska football’s post-graduate camp resulted in a new addition on Saturday, with Hayes Miller from Coffeyville (Kan.) CC announcing his commitment to join the Huskers as a walk-on for the upcoming season. Miller, a standout at Nebraska’s recent post-graduate camp, stands at 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds. He is expected to contribute in the slot position and possibly on special teams for Nebraska, leveraging his four years of eligibility with the Big Red.
Miller’s journey to Nebraska included a standout performance at the Lindenwood Mega Camp in St. Louis, where he caught the attention of Nebraska coaches Rob Dvoracek and EJ Barthel. They encouraged him to participate in Nebraska’s post-graduate camp, where he impressed with his agility and catching ability.
Previously, Miller played at Coffeyville CC, where despite limited opportunities as a freshman, he showed promise with three receptions totaling 30 yards across three games. His high school career saw him start at a small school in Palmyra, Missouri, before transferring to Mill Valley High School in the Kansas City area for his senior year.
Miller’s commitment marks the second addition from the post-graduate camp this week, following quarterback Jalyn Gramstad, who is already on campus at Nebraska.
