Gianni Edwards, hailing from North Forney High School near Dallas, announced his decision to join Arizona via social media. Despite receiving offers from other notable programs such as Boise State, Colorado, Houston, Memphis, and SMU, Edwards chose to commit to the Wildcats.

This marks Arizona’s 12th commitment in just the past week, highlighting their active recruiting efforts. Edwards, known for his size, speed, and physical play style, brings athleticism and potential to Arizona’s defensive backfield. Playing competitive 6A Football in Texas, he is noted for his field awareness and ability to make impactful plays.
