The pipeline from Georgia to Hollywood gained another highly talented addition on Wednesday.
Shamar Arnoux, a top prospect ranked in the Rivals250, announced his commitment to USC during the Rivals Five-Star event in Jacksonville. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound cornerback from Carrollton High School chose the Trojans over final contenders Florida State and Auburn.
Arnoux joins his Carrollton teammate Julian Lewis, the top-ranked player in the Rivals250, in USC’s 2025 recruiting class.
Speaking to Rivals, Arnoux emphasized the authenticity of the relationships he built with USC coaches, particularly mentioning Doug Belk, who had offered him a scholarship during his sophomore year at Houston.
“They were genuine,” Arnoux explained. “I loved the atmosphere. They operate with an NFL-style defense, so after my three years, if God willing, I’ll transition straight from their defense to the NFL, doing what I’ve been honing for three years.”

“Having Taylor Mays and the variety of voices in the defensive backfield, it’s the best scenario,” Arnoux added.
