BREAKING NEWS: The Ohio State Buckeyes added yet another talented piece to an already elite 2025 class

The Ohio State Buckeyes are dominating the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Heading into Thursday, they held the No. 1 spot nationally for the 2025 class, with commitments from 19 players, 18 of whom had at least one four-star rating from a major recruiting service. On Thursday afternoon, the Buckeyes added their 20th commitment: three-star tight end Brody Lennon from Gilmour Academy (Cleveland, OH), according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

“I’m staying home! Let’s go Bucks!!” Lennon shared with Fawcett.

Lennon chose Ohio State over Kentucky, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Penn State, becoming the second tight end commit in the class alongside Washington (OK) four-star Nate Roberts. He made his decision following an official visit to Columbus on June 21, having received his offer from the Buckeyes on June 13.

Lennon, a consensus three-star recruit, is ranked No. 487 overall, No. 27 among tight ends, and No. 19 in Ohio according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

In his junior season at Gilmour, Lennon recorded 32 catches for 750 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning Second-Team All-State and First-Team All-District honors, per 247Sports.

With Lennon’s commitment, the Buckeyes’ class is now packed with offensive talent, including five-star quarterback Tavien St. Clair, four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe, four-star running backs Bo Jackson and Isaiah West, four-star receivers Quincy Porter and De’zie Jones, three-star wideout Bodpegn Miller, and the aforementioned Roberts.
