Hull City have signed youngster George Dickinson after he was released by Sheffield United. The midfielder has agreed to a one-year deal with the East Yorkshire club, which includes an option for an additional year.

Dickinson, 19 years old, impressed during a trial with Hull City’s Under-21 team throughout the 2023/24 season. He will officially join the MKM Stadium on 1 July following the expiration of his contract with Sheffield United. Conor Sellars, the Lead Professional Development Phase Coach, spoke highly of Dickinson’s performances and leadership qualities during his trial period.

Dickinson expressed his delight at finalizing the deal and looks forward to joining Hull City. He praised the team’s playing style, emphasizing the freedom and structure that allow players to enjoy themselves on the field. He also highlighted Sellars’ welcoming approach and support, which he believes will contribute to his development.

Meanwhile, Hull City announced that Oliver Green has departed for Scottish Championship club Livingston for an undisclosed fee. Green, who captained Hull City’s Under-18s and U21 sides, featured in several first-team friendlies and had loan spells in non-league football.

The club thanked Green for his commitment and wished him well in his new adventure in Scotland.
