Some insiders in the industry believed Da’Saahn Brame was likely to choose Tennessee, but the four-star tight end surprised by announcing his commitment to the University of Oregon. Despite this decision on Saturday, the Volunteers are expected to persist in their pursuit of Brame, recognizing his exceptional talent from Kansas.

With Da’Saahn Brame’s commitment, Tennessee now has fifteen pledges for their 2025 recruiting class. They remain focused on several key prospects yet to make decisions, including wide receiver Travis Smith from Westlake High School, safety Lagonza Hayward from Toombs County, offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. from Providence Day School, and others.
