Audacy, the parent company of Philadelphia’s SportsRadio 94WIP, stated it became aware of the incident involving Howard Eskin and an Aramark employee, described as an “unwelcome kiss,” and promptly initiated an investigation, according to a report by The Philadelphia Inquirer on Tuesday.

Aramark, which provides food services at Citizens Bank Park, where the Phillies play, also conducted its own investigation into the matter.

The Phillies and Aramark issued separate statements acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations and indicating their cooperation with Audacy’s investigation. The Phillies expressed support for Audacy’s decision to suspend Howard Eskin from Citizens Bank Park.

Aramark confirmed that its investigation substantiated the allegations and collaborated with Audacy and the Phillies to ensure appropriate measures were taken to support their employee and all Aramark staff at the park.

Messages sent to Audacy and Howard Eskin by The Associated Press were not immediately answered.

Howard Eskin, a prominent figure in Philadelphia’s sports media landscape, has been associated with SportsRadio 94WIP since its inception in 1986 and remains a prominent voice in sports television and radio in the city.
