Cortez Mills, a highly regarded four-star wide receiver recruit, announced his decision to commit to Oklahoma on Monday. Mills, who stands at 6 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds, chose the Sooners over Nebraska, LSU, and Clemson.
Originally from Homestead, Florida, Mills is ranked as the No. 109 overall prospect and the No. 15 wide receiver in the class of 2025 by On3’s industry rankings. In Florida, he is positioned as the No. 5 wide receiver and the 17th overall player.
During his junior season, Mills had a standout performance, tallying 79 receptions for 1,640 receiving yards and scoring 18 touchdowns. His accomplishments earned him first-team All-Dade honors and contributed to Homestead High School’s victory in the Florida 3M state championship.
With Mills’ commitment, Oklahoma’s 2025 recruiting class now ranks ninth nationally and fifth in the SEC. He becomes the 20th commitment in the Sooners’ 2025 class.
Oklahoma’s 2025 recruiting efforts are highlighted by other notable prospects such as four-star offensive tackle Ryan Fodje and four-star wide receiver Elijah Thomas.
