On June 27, Creighton guard Trey Alexander has agreed to a bilateral contract with the Gold Nuggets, sources informed Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports (via Twitter).

The 6’4″ guard was a Big East All-Freshman with the Bluejays in the 2021-22 season and made the All-Big East Second Team in 2023-24. Last season, his best individual performance in college, the junior averaged 17.6 points per game with shooting splits of .446/.339/.824. He also averaged 5.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Alexander started all 72 games he played in his last two NCAA seasons.

Denver also signed former Clemson center PJ Hall to a two-way deal, a player they considered a first-round prospect. The team now has just one of three two-way slots available for another free agent.
