The incident occurred overnight, where suspects broke into the residence located in the hills above Encino by shattering a rear-sliding door around 2:15 a.m. Friday. The victim’s identity is being withheld by FOX 11, as he is the affected individual in this case.
This burglary is part of a recent series of break-ins in the San Fernando Valley early Friday morning, which also included an incident at the upscale sushi restaurant Katsyu-Ya, witnessed by bystanders. The athlete’s home invasion adds to a concerning trend of high-profile targets being targeted by burglary crews in the area.
