BREAKING NEWS: Huddersfield Town set to secure another sensational star player

According to a report from Football Insider, Huddersfield Town are currently in discussions for another temporary deal for 21-year-old midfielder Hodge.

Having moved to Wolves from Manchester City in the summer of 2021, Hodge has already made several appearances across various competitions for the Molineux club’s first team. He spent the latter half of last season on loan at QPR, aiding them in avoiding relegation from the Championship to League One.

Now, it appears Wolves are considering sending Hodge back to the English Football League (EFL) for the upcoming season to gain more playing time and continue his development.

The latest update indicates that Huddersfield are interested in securing a loan deal for Hodge for the upcoming campaign and are currently in talks to finalize the move. Wolves are reportedly open to letting the Republic of Ireland youth international go out on loan this season to aid his development and comply with Premier League financial regulations.

Hodge’s contract with Wolves runs until the end of the 2026/27 season, providing stability for his future with the club.

Huddersfield, who faced relegation to League One last season, have been active this summer, appointing Michael Duff as their new manager and making four first-team signings. These additions include Anthony Evans, Lasse Sorensen, Mickel Miller, and Herbie Kane.

The Terriers are set to kick off their League One campaign on August 10th against Peterborough United at London Road.

Hodge’s potential addition could bolster Huddersfield’s promotion ambitions in League One, given his experience in both the Premier League and Championship with Wolves and QPR, respectively. His versatility in midfield adds another dimension to their squad, though the club may also need to address other areas before the transfer window closes.

The coming weeks will reveal how strongly Huddersfield pursue the signing of Hodge and what impact he could have on their squad dynamics moving forward.
