According to a report by Matt Zenitz of 247 and supported by our own sources, UCLA appears set to acquire Jalen Berger, who is transferring from Michigan State. In his most recent full season with the Spartans in 2022, Berger rushed for 683 yards on 148 carries, scoring six touchdowns. However, a leg injury limited him to just five games last season.
The expectation is that ex-Michigan State and Wisconsin running back Jalen Berger is going to end up at UCLA, sources tell @247Sports/@CBSSports.

Berger originally started his collegiate career at Wisconsin before transferring to Michigan State. He still has two years of eligibility remaining.
Assuming Berger joins UCLA as anticipated, he is expected to become the team’s primary backup to TJ Harden, allowing Keegan Jones to transition into a more versatile role as a change-of-pace back.
This addition complements the recent enrollment of Anthony Frias mentioned in our previous report.
