Documents obtained by AL.com reveal that in July 2024, Agiye Hall, a former Texas Longhorns wide receiver who had transferred from Alabama after just one season, was found with 80.3 pounds of marijuana while traveling between San Francisco and Orlando. Hall, who had a single season at Alabama under head coach Nick Saban, was dismissed from the Texas team.
According to On3, Hall entered a no-contest plea in June. A trial scheduled for Monday was canceled after the court decided to withhold adjudication. The charge carried a maximum sentence of up to 30 years, with a minimum of three years. Initially set at $500, Hall’s bond was later reduced after his attorneys cited his mental health issues, including diagnoses of generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The judge agreed to the reduction.
Additionally, Hall reportedly missed UCF’s preseason practices earlier this week. He was previously set to join the Golden Knights as a walk-on.
