LSU Scores Big: New Orleans Star Chooses Tigers, Boosting Louisiana’s Recruiting Class

LSU continues to strengthen its recruiting efforts for defensive backs, securing a commitment from one of Louisiana’s top players for the 2026 class.

Aiden Hall, a four-star safety from Edna Karr, announced his commitment to the Tigers on social media on Saturday. Hall is ranked as the No. 53 overall player in the 2026 class and the No. 5 player in Louisiana according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

With Hall’s commitment, LSU now has four recruits for the 2026 class, all hailing from the New Orleans area. Joining Hall are four-star defensive lineman Richard Anderson from Edna Karr, three-star safety Jakai Anderson from McDonough 35, and three-star offensive lineman Jalan Chapman from Warren Easton.

Hall’s commitment follows last month’s pledge from five-star cornerback DJ Pickett, one of the top 10 players in the 2025 class. LSU now has commitments from four defensive backs across the next two recruiting classes and is actively pursuing five-star safety Jonah Williams for the 2025 class.
