According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson on Twitter/X, the Arizona Cardinals have brought in cornerback Delonte Hood for a workout.

Hood entered the league in 2022 as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals. After being waived before final roster cuts, he joined the Denver Broncos’ practice squad in December 2022 but was released in late August 2023.
Most recently, Hood played in the UFL for the Arlington Renegades. As of now, he has no recorded stats in a professional game. He will turn 24 this October and stands 6-1, 195 lbs.
The Cardinals have a lot of young cornerbacks to consider, which might indicate they’re exploring options due to potential injuries. Max Melton didn’t participate in the Red/White practice, and Kei’Trel Clark has missed the last three practices with unspecified injuries.
Besides Melton and Clark, the Cardinals are working with new faces such as Garrett Williams, Starling Thomas, Jaden Davis, and Elijah Jones, all of whom have one year or less of NFL experience. They are guided by free-agent signing Sean Murphy-Bunting, so there may not be much room for a new addition.
