Sidwell Friends School (D.C.) rising senior Acaden Lewis, currently ranked No. 46 in the 247Sports 2025 Composite, is poised to move up in the rankings after showcasing his skills as one of the nation’s top point guards during the spring and summer grassroots seasons. This week, Lewis is making an unofficial visit to the Duke basketball program.
Despite being an unofficial visit, it has included a photoshoot, with Lewis sharing images of himself in Duke jerseys from Cameron Indoor Stadium’s hype room on Tuesday.
This visit is Lewis’ fourth to a prestigious program this summer, following previous trips to Kentucky, UNC, and back-to-back national champions UConn.
Currently, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound Lewis is considering a final list of eight schools: Duke, UNC, UConn, Kentucky, Syracuse, Auburn, Tennessee, and Michigan. He has not yet announced plans for an official visit with Duke head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff.
However, Lewis has scheduled official visits to Louisville on August 30 and UNC on October 4, with intentions to make his recruitment decision before the early signing period in November.
As of now, no experts have made predictions in the 247Sports Crystal Ball for his commitment. Lewis is among the 13 prospects in the 2025 class to receive a Duke offer, with the Blue Devils still seeking their first commitment for the cycle.
