After missing out on Lauri Markkanen due to his renegotiation and extension with the Utah Jazz, and with Stephen Curry displaying his exceptional skills once more in Paris, the focus has shifted to identifying other potential assets for the Warriors to better support their two-time MVP.
Stephen Noh of Sporting News recently suggested three trade scenarios aimed at acquiring more offensive talent for Golden State. However, just because a player might theoretically address the Warriors’ needs doesn’t guarantee success in practice. While the Warriors showed interest in players like Paul George and Markkanen, they have shown less enthusiasm for Brandon Ingram and Zach LaVine.
None of these proposed trades are ideal for Golden State, and some could even be considered potentially disastrous. Nonetheless, let’s rank these trades, starting with the most favorable option from the Warriors’ perspective.
