Lacy, a highly anticipated transfer who was projected to be the Cardinals’ top receiver, had an impressive season at South Alabama last year, recording 91 catches for 1,316 yards—both ranking fifth nationally—and seven touchdowns.

With last season’s leading receiver, James Thrash, having departed after leading the team with 69 catches for 858 yards and six touchdowns, Louisville will need to find a replacement. Chris Bell, who was second on the team in receptions last year, is expected to step up, and the team will also benefit from Alabama transfer Ja’Corey Brooks.
